Melissa Weaver

Melissa Weaver is the Standards and Compliance Specialist at the Knox County Emergency Communications District in Knoxville, Tennessee. She started her career in public safety in 1989. She has been an active member of APCO since 1996, and currently serves as Vice President of the Tennessee Chapter. In 2001, Melissa was recognized as the Line Supervisor of the Year for the state of Tennessee by TNAPCO.

Melissa is married to Don, and has a four-year-old daughter, Cailin. In her free time Melissa enjoys playing with Cailin, riding motorcycles and her Tennessee Walking Horses, and most anything outdoors.
